A registration number is indirect personal data (it can identify the registered keeper). Plateva does not look up keepers' identities. We recommend not photographing people or personal documents.
From market listings, Plateva keeps only the price, mileage, year, seller type (dealer / private), town and listing link — never the text, photos or seller contact details.
No decision producing legal effects is taken solely on the basis of automated processing: valuations support the professional's decision, which remains theirs.

Your data is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
4. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Data access is separated per dealership and enforced server-side. Keys for third-party services are kept in a secrets vault and never reach the browser.
5. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise them: contact@plateva.fr. We reply within one month.
If your data was entered by a dealership of which you are not a user (for example your part-exchanged vehicle's registration), please contact that dealership first, as controller; we will assist it.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority of your country (in France: the CNIL, www.cnil.fr).
